Lange RX 130 LV
A low volume performance boot with a nearly perfect fit and a balanced stance. Testers praise the new tongue construction, the dual core plastic and the reactive . Putting on skis. so after 5 seasons on Lange XT 130’s it was time for a new pair of boots. I decided to go with the new dual core RX’s this time for a bit more performance and the new design. I put my BD liners in these and will ski on the boot untouched to see what I feel needs to be tweaked. Other things I noticed. The Lange RX 130 felt like a stiffer flex than the Nordica 130, and the Technica felt about the same as the Nordica. Of course this was indoors. I was also told to go with the 130, and can always remove a screw to take 10% of flex out of boot or remove plastic if I need to. Feb 10, 2024. #15. First, fit compared to the RX and second, how would Gara LVs fit the Shadow shell. I recently went to Zipfit Gara LVs in my Lange RX 130LVs.

Jan 7, 2019. #1. Hey guys, just wondering if anybody had a line on a replacement liner for a pair of 25.5 201617 Lange RX-130 boots. The liners are starting to pack out a bit. I've got about 60 to 70 days on them so far. I called the place I got them (Viking Ski Shop in Chicago) (Great shop by the way) and haven't heard back from them.
My observation would be I own and ski in both the Lange RX 120, and the Lange RS 130. They’re both a little modified with the 120 having a booster strap and foam liner, and the 130 having a Zipfit liner. The 130’s are possibly a touch stiffer but to be honest it’s just not that big a deal. I’m not conscious of any difference when I’m .
The RX 130 LV has a narrow and shallow heel pocket (I had to grind the heels out quite a bit, I was getting bone spurs on my heels). The toe box tapers from the big toe to the pinky toe. If you have a more squared off foot, this will not work for you. I did a little grinding in the toe box for a couple more mm or room. The Shadow series is offered in mens' in flexes 100, 110,120, and 130 all in low and medium volume. Women's run 85, 95, and 115 in low and medium volume. If you're normally in a high volume boot, you may consider giving the one of the MV offerings. The LV boot feels generous; the MV may just work for you. The Lange L10 Race is a design from the era of "straight" skis. While the Lange RS 130 is a design from the era of "parabolic" shaped skis.
